President Yoweri Museveni has said government does not support the establishment of courses in higher institutions of leaning in the country that are not marketable.
“Let us not start any course that has got no relevance to the job market. The Government will not fail to support you with funds for personnel and essential requirements for promoting science education. President Museveni Receives Special Message from Congo President Nguesso

Thursday 12th October 2017
President Yoweri Museveni has received a special message from President Dennis Sassou Nguesso of Congo.
The Congolese Special Envoy, Mr. Jean Claude Gakosso, who is also the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, delivered the message to President Museveni today at State House, Entebbe.
President Nguesso conveyed warm greetings to his Ugandan counterpart and also wished him good health.
The visiting Congolese Minister was accompanied by a delegation.

President Yoweri Museveni has made an impromptu visit to the death site of one of the victims in the spate of murders that have sent shock waves around the community and forced security forces on a frantic search for answers. “People doing charity work Cannot take Anybody’s Land” – President Museveni

President Yoweri Museveni has said people who claim to do charity work in the name of government, cannot take over anybody's land.

President gives Green Light to Purchase of Medical Equipment from Dutch Company

Thursday, 7th September 2017,
President Yoweri Museveni has granted permission to the Ministry of Health to purchase diagnostic medical equipment worth Euros 49 million, from Philips Africa (Pty) Ltd, a Dutch company based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The President made the decision today when he received a delegation from Philips Africa at the State Lodge in Fort Portal, Kabarole District. The Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Mr. Jasper Westerink led the delegation that also included the Dutch ambassador to Uganda, Mr. Henk Jan Bakker.
