Dear Fellow Ugandans and all people of good will, as we make the final arrangements to receive the Holy Father Pope Francis in Uganda, I have the honour to share with you a message from the Catholic Bishops of Uganda under the umbrella of Uganda Episcopal Conference.

First, we thank God for the opportunity He has given us as a country to host His Holiness Pope Francis, the third Roman Pontiff to visit Uganda. This indeed is a great blessing for us. President Museveni Meets Former Minister Bakoko Bakoru

Sunday, 27th September 2015
President Yoweri Museveni has met the former Minister of Gender, Labor and Social Development, Zoe Bakoko Bakoru, over her return to Uganda.
Bakoko Bakoru, who was once charged with abuse of office but had the charges dropped by the Inspectorate of Government (IGG), has been living in the USA since 2006 in self-imposed exile.
