DONT FORM ALTERNATIVE GOVERNMENTS - PRESIDENT MUSEVENI TO CULTURAL LEADERS

 

KOLOLO CEREMONIAL GROUNDS, KAMPALA: President Yoweri Museveni has today led Ugandans as chief mourner to celebrate the life of His Highness Emorimor Papa Iteso, Augustine Kadugala Osuban Lemukol, who died on February 5, 2022, from Mulago Hospital.

This was during an official requiem mass held for the Emorimor at Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala. 

DRC, CONGO, TOGO, UGANDA IN MINI SUMMIT ON REGIONAL PEACE AND SECURITY

OYO, CONGO BRAZAVVILE: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today joined several heads of State including President Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo of the Democratic Republic of Congo,  President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe of the Republic of Togo and President Denis Sassou-Nguesso of the Republic of Congo the host at a mini-summit on Regional Peace and Security in Oyo, Congo Brazzaville.

PRSEIDENT MUSEVENI IN CONGO BRAZAVILLE ON A WORKING VISIT

OYO-OLLOMBO, REPUBLIC OF CONGO: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today arrived in the Central town of Oyo-Ollombo in the Cuvette Region in the Republic of Congo on a working visit at the invitation of his counter-part, Republic of Congo President Denis Sassou Nguesso. 

H.E President Denis Sassou Nguesso received the President Museveni and his delegation at Oyo-Ollombo International Airport.

"WE SHALL WORK WITH WHOEVER IS ELECTED PRESIDENT OF KENYA" - YOWERI KAGUTA MUSEVENI

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has said that like it has been the norm, Uganda is always ready to work with whoever is elected by the people of Kenya as President.

“Whoever is the President of Kenya, we shall work with him (or her). So long as he or she is elected by the people,” Museveni said.

GOVERNMENT TO LAUNCH PARISH DEVELOPMENT MODEL THIS MONTH

President Yoweri Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief (C-I-C) of the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF), has announced that government is to launch the Parish Development Model on February 26, 2022 to ensure that all Ugandans eradicate poverty in their households.

“We have been begging you to create income in your houses. There are some things you can do but up to now some people are not bothered,” Museveni observed.
