President Yoweri Museveni has told a delegation of officials from Fenix International who called on him yesterday at State House, Nakasero that the stand of the Government of Uganda is to promote projects that will make money. Nairobi – East African countries that are ready to kick-start the political federation should go ahead and do so, President Museveni has said, adding that the rest can follow later.
The President made the remarks yesterday (Friday) as he delivered a public lecture at Kenyatta University in Nairobi, at the conclusion of his three-day State Visit to the neighbouring Kenya.

President Yoweri Museveni has told the ongoing SADC Solidarity Conference on Western Sahara that Morocco must be told firmly and clearly that aggression towards Western Saharawi must stop, describing their actions as a mistake of an enemy who knows that when they fight, Africa disappears.
President Yoweri Museveni has arrived in the South African city of Pretoria for a two day SADC Solidarity Conference on Western Sahara.
The 38th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of SADC approved the convening of a Conference on Solidarity with the Saharawi people. South Africa and Namibia are co-hosting the SADC Solidarity Conference with Western Sahara.

President Yoweri Museveni who is also the national Chairman of the NRM Party has today accepted the NRM Parliamentary Caucus endorsement of the Party’s Central Executive Committee’s resolution that was made at Chobe Safari Hotel in Nwoya District last month that nominated him as the NRM Presidential candidate for the 2021 elections.

President Yoweri Museveni has said that for the African continent to achieve and realise the much desired transformation agenda, the continent must focus on qualitative transformation of her population and production means as opposed to quantitative transformation. He observed that failure to focus on quality as opposed to quantity will make Africa’s efforts at transformation, go in vain.

President Yoweri Museveni and his counterpart President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya have today held a bilateral meeting at State House in Entebbe.
President Uhuru was in Uganda for a brief working visit.T he two leaders discussed various local and regional issues.
President Yoweri Museveni has received a special message from his Republic of Congo counterpart, President Denis Sassou.
Congo’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mr. Jean Claude Gakosso, handed over the message to the President on Friday evening at State House Entebbe.
President Museveni and the Congolese delegation discussed bilateral relations between their two countries, the Republic of Congo and Uganda.
