H.E the President also urged the educators to help Ugandans understand nature and its natural laws to solve problems in the society.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appealed to the education managers in Uganda to be clear on their historical role of imparting education basics to learners and helping them understand nature and its natural laws.

This, according to the President, will help Ugandans solve problems in society.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has wooed foreign investors to invest in Uganda, saying that the East African country has a lot of investment opportunities with a readily available market. 

 

“When you produce a good or a service, who will buy the product? In the case of Uganda, you have the possibility of both. When you are here, you produce a good or a service and you will be assured of the market,” he said.

PRESIDENT MUSEVENI HONOURS PAN-AFRICAN HEROES OVER EAC PROGRESS

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today met and held discussions with a delegation from the East African Community (EAC) Secretariat led by the Secretary General, Hon. Dr. Peter Mathuki at State House Entebbe.

During the meeting, President Museveni lauded the fallen Pan-Africanists such as the late Mwalimu Julius Nyerere- former President of Tanzania and the late Kwame Nkrumah- former President of Ghana for fostering the formation and growth of the East African Community (EAC).

PRESIDENT MUSEVENI RECEIVES CREDENTIALS FROM FOUR NEW ENVOYS TO UGANDA

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today received credentials from four (4) new envoys to Uganda, at a function held at State House- Entebbe.

The envoys who presented their credentials include the United States of America Ambassador, H.E. William W. Popp, the Ambassador of Norway, H.E Hermansen Anne Kistin, the Ambassador of Finland, H.E. Pirkka Tapiola and the Ambassador of Palestine, H.E. Hazem Shabat.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has urged the people of Tororo District to join the money economy in order to fight poverty. 

 

“We have told you, please working only for the stomach is not good. You must all join the money economy because you have got needs of the stomach and non-stomach needs. So how will you solve the non-stomach needs like education if you are looking at only the stomach?” President Museveni noted.

The State House Comptroller, Ms. Jane Barekye has advised the beneficiaries of the Presidential Initiative on Skilling the Girl/Boy Child (PISGBC) project that the skills they have acquired through training will help to transform their lives if they put them into proper use.
