The First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports Mrs. Janet Museveni, on Friday, made an impromptu on-spot inspection visit to Kyambogo University and Makerere University to assess the current status of accommodation of students in higher institutions of learning and their capacity to accommodate students in the context of COVID -19 as part of the preparations to re-open.

BOMBO, LUWERO DISTRICT: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief of the Uganda Armed Forces has urged the new UPDF Members of Parliament going to represent the Army in the 11th Parliament to support his 7-point priorities in the coming new term of office.

KAYUNGA DISTRICT: President Yoweri Museveni has today commissioned the newly completed Isimba Bridge comprising two bridges with one measuring 435 metres and the other 475 metres, both linked by a road at Koova Island on Lake Victoria connecting Kayunga and Kamuli districts.

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: Uganda is a land of Peace, Profit and Prosperity, the leader of the Indian Association in Uganda has said. 

The description by Mr Mohan Rao was made yesterday (Saturday) at State House Entebbe during a meeting between President Museveni and leaders of the Indian Association.
