The Presidential Press Unit (PPU) wishes to inform the General Public that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has signed nine (9) bills into law. 

The nine bills assented to, by the President are:

1. The National Sports Act, 2023

2. The Stamp Duty (Amendment) Act, 2023 

3. The Foreign Exchange (Amendment) Act, 2023

4. The Value Added Tax (Amendment) No. 2) Act, 2023

5. The Excise Duty (Amendment) (No.2) Act, 2023

6. The financial Institutions (Amendment) Act, 2023

7. The income Tax (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 2023 

8. The Income Tax (Amendment) Act, 2023

9. The Tax Procedures Code (Amendment) Act, 2023
