President returns Home after two day working visit to Tanzania

President Yoweri Museveni and the First lady Hon. Janet Museveni have left from Dar es Salaam for Entebbe after a two-day working visit.

On departure at Julius Nyerere International Airport, the president and his wife Janet Museveni were seen off by the Tanzania Vice President Samia Suluhu Hassan, the Minister for Foreign Affairs Prof. Palamagamba Kabudi and the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and  Vocational Training Prof. Joyce Ndalichako. Others to see them off included the Uganda High Commissioner to Tanzania Richard Kabonero and the Uganda Defence Attaché to Tanzania Major General Steven Kashaka.

The President who was in Tanzania at the invitation of President John Pombe Magufuli jointly commissioned the Mwalimu Nyerere Foundation and officiated at the Uganda-Tanzania Business Forum 2019. Back home, President Museveni and the First Lady Janet Museveni were received by the Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet Dr. John Mitala, Commander of Defence Forces Gen. David Muhoozi and Assistant Inspector General of Police Asan Kasingye.
