President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the Commander In Chief of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) has revealed that Uganda is now stable due to the consequence of ideological and philosophical shift in the country.

This is to inform you that last Saturday, the 16th of September, 2023, our Air Force attacked four ADF terrorists’ targets that were between kms 100 and kms 150 from the Ugandan border on the Ntoroko side. These targets had been located by assets from our Special Duties Regiments (SDR) that have good reconnaissance assets. 

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today received credentials from four (4) new envoys to Uganda, at a function held at State House- Entebbe.

The envoys who presented their credentials include the United States of America Ambassador, H.E. William W. Popp, the Ambassador of Norway, H.E Hermansen Anne Kistin, the Ambassador of Finland, H.E. Pirkka Tapiola and the Ambassador of Palestine, H.E. Hazem Shabat.

The Minister of State for Lands, Housing and Urban Development (Housing), Hon. Persis Namuganza has commended President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for initiating developmental programs such as the Presidential Initiative on Skilling the Girl/Boy Child (PISGBC) that have transformed the lives of Ugandans especially the youth. 

The government of Uganda has partnered with Summa, a Turkish construction company, to construct a modern state of the art multipurpose indoor sports complex with a seating capacity of 15,000 people.

The complex will be set up at the premises of the National Council of Sports (NCS) at Lugogo, Kampala. 

The members of opposition political parties in Uganda have been urged to desist from sowing the seed of hate, violence, tribalism, and destruction. 

The remarks were made yesterday by Eng. Joseph Sewava Mukasa, the National Youth Coordinator and also the head of political mobilisation in the Office of the Minister for Presidency during the showcasing ceremony of products made by the beneficiaries of the Presidential Initiative on Skilling the Girl/Boy Child (PISGBC) at Kikoni Skilling Center. 

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the National Chairman of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) has pledged to support musicians by giving them funds and equipment to uplift their talents. 

H.E the President of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, this morning at State House Entebbe, welcomed the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council of the Republic of the Sudan, H.E Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. They deliberated on bilateral and regional issues.

The Presidential Press Unit (PPU) wishes to inform the general public that His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uganda, Gen (Rtd) Yoweri Kaguta Museveni today met and held discussions with His Excellency, Salva Kiir, President of South Sudan at State House-Entebbe.

The two leaders discussed issues of mutual interest between the two brotherly countries and border security.

The Special Presidential Assistant on Education and Skilling who also serves as the Head of the Presidential Initiative on Skilling the Girl/ Boy Child (PISGBC), Dr. Faith Katana Mirembe has urged the Uganda Police Force to find a solution to Domestic Violence that is threatening to frustrate government's well thought out program of skilling the youth. 

“Police, I would like to know what action you are going to take in-order to end Domestic Violence,” she demanded.
